Downloaded music not showing up as music files

OK!!!! I think I now have the music correctly. I was able to sync the phone to iTunes. I then compared the updated iTunes Music folder to my backed up copy and I see music in iTunes that was previously not there, e.g. it was on the phone but now in iTunes. This is very good. However I still have a problem with the Audiobooks. I was using Windows My music files are still showing. I put some on from CDS and downloaded from ITunes but always made new CDS for the car in MP3 format, so my music was MP3 and MPA/MP4 (I think). I really don't understand all this default programmes stuff and only use my laptop to make cds, emails and bit of browsing.
